Patna, 11 January (ABN). LJP chief and Union Minister Chirag Paswan launched an attack on the opposition over several issues. He said that for the past several years, opposition leaders have been doing politics by lying and scaring people. Whenever the government introduces a new issue or law, the opposition tries to create an atmosphere of fear and intimidation among the public. First, it was CAA, then NRC, and now unnecessary politics is being done over 'Garib Kalyan Rojgar Abhiyaan'. Chirag Paswan, targeting the main opposition party Congress, said that the Congress opposed laws like CAA and NRC and termed the citizenship law as anti-national. He said that the Congress created a negative atmosphere in the country and also spoiled issues like Bangladesh. The Union Minister said that the NRC process takes place from time to time in every state and is a part of a general review system, but Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav have linked it to vote theft, spreading confusion among the public. Union Minister Chirag Paswan, attacking the Congress party over the issue of renaming MGNREGA, said that during the Congress rule, it was made for common people to dig earth, and money was embezzled through signatures without doing any work. The people involved in the system built big houses, and the scheme became a hub of corruption for the Congress party. When Prime Minister Narendra Modi attacked it and made changes to the scheme, the Congress also started opposing it. Chirag Paswan said that now, under MGNREGA, employment will be provided for more than 100 days, i.e., around 125 days. The opposition is terming it a burden on the states, but it is not a burden, rather a matter of collective response between the central and state governments. Now, both will work together with collective responsibility. Chirag Paswan said that earlier, under MGNREGA, only digging earth was required, but now, poor laborers will be given employment in infrastructure projects. While talking to journalists, Chirag Paswan said that Kishanganj MP Rajesh Verma has been made in-charge of Bengal to take stock of the political situation there. After this, it will be decided whether the LJP (Ram Vilas) will contest elections in Bengal. The Union Minister claimed that in the coming months, an NDA government will be formed in West Bengal. NDA governments will also be formed in Tamil Nadu and Assam. To further strengthen the party in Bihar, major changes will be made in the party organization. Chirag Paswan said that continuous work is being done to expand the party. Major changes will be made in the organization by the end of this month. New responsibilities will be assigned to party leaders.
