Patna, 9 February (ABN). Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Nitan Naveen addressed public representatives and party workers at a program held at Bapu Auditorium in Patna, the capital of Bihar, on Monday. Taking on opposition parties, he said that parties that start and end with themselves cannot bring a bright future to Bihar or the country.
Nitan Naveen said that the biggest weakness of individual and family parties is that they are limited to a limited circle, while the BJP is the only party where a common worker can reach the post of national president and prime minister. He said that in the BJP, organization and ideology are most important, not individuals or families.
Recalling his political journey, the BJP president said that he started his political career in Bihar as a common worker and even after reaching the national level, he considers himself a worker. He explained that he entered active politics in 2006 after his father's death. Then-state president Radha Mohan Singh encouraged him to contest the election for the first time, and he received the blessings of then-national president Rajnath Singh and the support of the entire party organization.
Thanking Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Nitan Naveen said that he will make every possible effort to take forward the trust reposed in him by the prime minister. He said that this is his first visit to Patna after becoming national president, and he is grateful for the love shown by the people of Bihar, who have consistently elected him as a member of the legislative assembly.
Addressing the youth, he said that he has worked in the Yuva Morcha for a long time and has always given them the message that there is no shortcut in politics. Politics is a long race, and to build the India of Prime Minister Modi's dreams, everyone should work with full dedication and enthusiasm.
Referring to the ideological background of the BJP, he said that Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee gave the movement of nationalism, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya presented the concept of Antyodaya, and Atal Bihari Vajpayee gave the mantra of good governance. Today, the BJP governments are serving the country, inspired by the ideas of these three great men.
On the occasion, state president Sanjay Sarawagi said that the visit of national president Nitan Naveen to Bihar is a matter of pride for all party workers. Becoming national president at the age of 45 is a matter of honor for the entire state of Bihar. He informed that during his two-day visit, Nitan Naveen will participate in several organizational and political events.
Earlier, the BJP had organized a grand ceremony in honor of national president Nitan Naveen at Bapu Auditorium. Party workers gave him a warm welcome.
After the felicitation ceremony, Nitan Naveen held an organizational meeting with state officials. On 10 February, he will visit the Bihar Assembly, where MLAs and MLCs will welcome him. After that, he will attend a program in the Bankipur assembly constituency. On the last day of his visit, on the evening of 10 February, he will leave for Delhi from Patna.
