Patna: (ABN) An employee started trembling on stage in front of Deputy Chief Minister and Revenue and Land Reforms Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha. Sinha scolded the employee on stage over a land reform issue, causing him to tremble. Sinha then told the employee not to be afraid. The case of Samra police station, Janipur, in Phulwari Sharif, Patna, was included in the land reform issue. The applicant's work had been pending for a long time. When Sinha asked the employee a question, he started shaking on stage. Sinha gave the Revenue Department employees 15 days to resolve the cases on time.
Vijay Sinha organized the Land Reform Public Welfare Dialogue, where hundreds of land-related applications were received from Patna district. The problem of every person was resolved by the departmental officers, Additional Collector, Deputy Collector, Circle Officer, and concerned Land Revenue staff. After listening to the problems, they gave clear instructions to the officials to take immediate action and resolve each case on time. The Land Reform Public Welfare Dialogue is a new initiative of the new government, which aims to provide all land-related services to every citizen of Bihar in a transparent, easy, and timely manner.
It will start from Patna district and will be held in every district of the state in the next 100 days. He said that the NDA government has prioritized important services such as mutation, refinement, land measurement, survey, revenue court, removal of encroachments, and Bihar Land Portal. For years, the public had to go to the zonal, sub-division, and district headquarters level for land-related matters. Often, due to a lack of correct information and guidance, people get caught in the clutches of brokers. Many problems have been pending for a long time due to the negligence of officials.
He said that the government has now made it clear that the grievances of citizens will be monitored and resolved in a timely and proper manner, step by step, from the zonal to the headquarters level. The Land Reform Public Welfare Dialogue is an effective step to listen to, understand, and find solutions to public problems. In this dialogue, departmental officers and senior administrative officers will be present, so that every landowner in the state can get correct information, timely action, and a fair solution regarding their land.
This initiative will bring transparency to the land reform and revenue system. Common people will be able to get information about all the services provided by the government and the fair efforts to resolve their problems. Sinha said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, moving towards prosperity through good governance, its objective is to resolve land-related problems of every Bihari, end disputes, and make land-related services fully digital, simple, accessible, and accountable.
