Media is at the forefront of violating minority rights: Muhammad Nafee Arfi A special session was organized by the All India Milli Council, Bihar on the occasion of Minority Day Phulwari Sharif: A special session was held at the office of the All India Milli Council, Bihar on the occasion of World Minority Rights Day under the chairmanship of Amir-e-Shariat Maulana Anisur Rahman Qasmi, the acting president of the All India Milli Council. Maulana Qasmi, in his presidential address, mentioned the provisions related to minorities in the Constitution of India and said that it is essential for every individual to be aware of the rights given to minorities in the country's constitution so that they can strive to achieve their rights. He further said that wherever minorities live in the world, whether they are religious, linguistic, or ethnic, they face difficulties in the face of the majority, so minorities should not be intimidated. In our country, major minorities such as Muslims, Sikhs, Parsis, Christians, and Jains and Buddhists have struggled positively for their rights and have achieved success and development wherever they have done so. He added that the hatred and injustice seen towards minorities in some parts of India is due to hatred, which has been spread by a particular class in such a way that it has created a rift in society and has created a gap that hinders understanding. This is why hate groups are creating obstacles in the achievement of minority rights, and this injustice is happening at various levels. To prevent this, it is necessary that we recognize our rights and respond to hatred with love. It is also essential for minorities to strengthen themselves educationally, for which the All India Milli Council is running an educational movement across the country under the Mission Education 2050. He said that minorities should focus on establishing colleges, schools, and other educational institutions and establish their institutions at their level. They should also make vigorous efforts to achieve their rights at the government and political levels and strive to fulfill the rights and duties they have towards each other at all times. Maulana Dr. Muhammad Alam Qasmi, President of the All India Milli Council, Bihar, said that no country can develop by neglecting its minorities, and it is essential to include minorities in the mainstream. We live together with other minorities in the country; Islam has great importance for rights, and we need to achieve our rights in a positive way. Rights are not achieved by crying and being disappointed. Maulana Muhammad Nafee Arfi, General Secretary of the All India Milli Council, Bihar, said that other minorities, rather than Muslims, benefit more from the special government concessions for minorities. Muslims are not aware of their rights, and many budgets are wasted. It is necessary to overcome the feeling of inferiority and to have self-confidence. The problems of minorities will only be solved by creating political awareness. Maulana Arfi further said that today, according to the UN resolution, the whole world is celebrating Minority Rights Day. However, its foundation was laid by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), who clearly defined the rights of minorities living in Muslim governments. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said that if someone kills a dhimmi, they will not receive the fragrance of heaven. Similarly, Islam legislated to protect the rights of minorities and took such care that Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) instructed his successor, in his will, to pay special attention to the protection of minority rights. This is why the rights of minorities are mentioned in Islamic books under the title "Rights of Dhimmis" along with the commands of Allah and His Messenger. In our country, too, a guarantee has been given for the protection of minority rights. The need is for us to strive positively to achieve our rights. Janab Noshad Azam, General Secretary of the All India Milli Council, Patna district, also drew attention to important points regarding minority rights. Janab Najm ul Hasan Najmi said that on the occasion of Minority Rights Day today, it is our responsibility to pledge that we will strive to achieve the rights of all minorities in the country, taking them along. It is essential for us to become aware of the rights given to us in our law. Finally, a condolence meeting was held for the demise of a great personality of the subcontinent, Hafiz Pir Zulfiqar Ahmed Naqshbandi, and Mufti Ejaz ur Rehmani, a respected teacher of Jamia Rahmani, and a prayer for forgiveness was offered. The program began with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Hafiz Engineer Arif and a naat by Hafiz Muhammad Aasim. Among those who participated were Mufti Jamaluddin Qasmi, Maulana Razaullah Qasmi, Mufti Fizaan Razi, and Janab Shammim Alvi.
