Patna, 04 January (ABN) The participation of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, an old friend, in the 90th birthday celebration of Shyam Nandan Choudhary, a former powerful leader in Bihar politics and father of current Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, made the event special. The birthday celebration held at the residence of Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary in the state capital Patna was not an ordinary meeting between Shyam Nandan Choudhary and Nitish Kumar. Both leaders were among the founding members of the Samata Party, formed in 1994 under the leadership of George Fernandes. The Samata Party in Bihar consisted of leaders who broke away from the Janata Dal, disagreeing with the political methods of then Chief Minister Lalu Prasad. During this period, Lalu Prasad's MY (Muslim-Yadav) social equation was countered by the Kurmi-Koeri equation, with Nitish Kumar representing the Kurmi community and Shyam Nandan Choudhary representing the Koeri community. In 2005, when Nitish Kumar became the Chief Minister for the first time, the votes of the Kurmi and Kushwaha communities played a significant role. Today, when the two leaders met on the occasion of Shyam Nandan Choudhary's birthday, people said that the Luv-Kush duo is sitting together. Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, who witnessed the confluence of these two powerful leaders, wrote on 'X' today, "Hearty congratulations and good wishes to my respected father Shyam Nandan Choudhary Ji on his 90th birthday." He said, "Papa! Your affectionate blessings, discipline, sacrifice, and guidance full of life values are a beacon of inspiration for us. I pray that you live a long life and continue to bless us with your kindness, with good health, this is my prayer to God."
