Darbhanga (Irfan Ahmed Pedal): The monthly meeting of the Darbhanga District Urdu Council was held at the council's office, Kahkashan Enclave, under the chairmanship of the organization's president, Mushataq Shamshi. All guests were welcomed there. Mr. Naseem Ahmed Rifaat Maki said that in accordance with the decision taken in the previous meeting, it was unanimously decided in today's meeting to prepare a calendar and advertisements for the promotion of Urdu and distribute them among the people. In this calendar, an attempt will be made to connect Urdu with the market by including pictures of signboards/ nameplates in Urdu script of shops, educational institutions, and other commercial centers located among the Urdu-speaking population.

As per the decision taken in the previous meeting, it was informed that a letter has been sent to the Municipal Commissioner on behalf of the council by Shahid Athar, Advocate, Vice President of the council, to write the names of all offices in Darbhanga in Urdu script. In this meeting, intellectuals also unanimously decided that in areas where there is a Muslim population and children are away from education, and their parents are not capable of providing education to their children, arrangements will be made to educate those children, especially teaching them Urdu and Arabic languages, so that they can not only build their future but also get employment after acquiring Urdu education.

If members of the Urdu Council do this, Urdu will not only be promoted, but after seeing this, interest in the Urdu language will also be generated among other children, and they will be attracted to Urdu. For this, people like us need to work hard. Insha'Allah, we will work on such tasks after Ramadan. It was also decided in this meeting that if Urdu teachers or Hafiz are required for this, they will be appointed, and the work of taking the language to every household will be done.

On this occasion, Wasif Jamal emphasized the importance of purchasing and distributing Urdu magazines and newspapers. Everyone endorsed this. Wasif Jamal Sahib requested everyone to pray for the complete recovery of Naseem Ahmed Rifaat Maki Sahib. In today's meeting, it was also unanimously decided that members who do not attend three consecutive meetings will be removed from membership, and their place will be given to Urdu lovers.

In today's meeting, the diary and advertisement of the school were distributed by Muhammad Shahid Hussain, Vice Principal of Iqra Academy, Darbhanga, while Wasif Jamal distributed Urdu magazines. The meeting was attended by Joint Secretary, Advocate, and Journalist Irfan Ahmed Pedal, Muhammad Shammim Ahmed Prem Jiwari, Muhammad Shahid, Vice Principal of Iqra Academy, Dr. Javed Akhtar, Organizing Secretary of Urdu Council, Dr. Ehsanul Haq, Imam of Shahi Mosque Khan Deori, Qari Muhammad Shabbir, Hafiz Abdul Quddus, Muhammad Danish Muhammad Thales, and others.
