Patna (ABN) BJP's national working president Nityanand Rai arrived in Patna for the first time after becoming the national working president. At the airport, Bihar BJP president Sanjay Saraogi welcomed him by garlanding him with a garland of makhan ke bij. Deputy Chief Minister Sushant Choudhary warmly welcomed Nityanand Rai by presenting him with a shawl and a bouquet of flowers.
The massive roadshow that unfolded from the Patna airport to the Miller High School ground and the BJP state office is being seen as a clear expression of the organization's strength, unity, and enthusiasm for Nityanand Rai, who became the national executive president of the BJP at the age of 45. At the airport, he was welcomed by dozens of leaders, including Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sinha, Jaiswal, Sanjiv Chaurasia, and others.
As soon as he came out of the airport, his convoy started moving through the city streets with party workers waving saffron flags, drums, and slogans. This roadshow will not only be a welcome procession but also a message highlighting Nityanand Rai's important role and position within the Bihar BJP.
Deputy Chief Minister Sushant Choudhary said that the Bharatiya Janata Party is the only political party in the country that has given priority to hard work, dedication, and struggle of workers over nepotism in organization and power. He said that even today, there is a perception in the country that positions and opportunities are limited to only close relatives of an individual or a family, but the BJP has broken this notion.
Sushant Choudhary said that the BJP has shown the courage to hand over leadership to the third generation of workers, going beyond the first generation. No other party has this courage. Referring to RJD and SP, Mr. Choudhary said that whether it is Rashtriya Janata Dal, Samajwadi Party, or Trinamool Congress, leadership and position always revolve around one family. The party's leadership does not come out of that family.
He said that, on the other hand, in the BJP, even an ordinary worker can become the country's Prime Minister with hard work and dedication. This party runs on nationalism and respect for workers, not nepotism. Expressing happiness over Nityanand Rai becoming the national executive president, Sushant Choudhary said that Nityanand Rai has held important responsibilities in the government and organization for almost 20 years.
As a minister in the Bihar government, he has handled several departments and played a role in strengthening the organization. He said, "We are sad that he will no longer be a part of the Bihar government, but we are even more proud that a son of Bihar will now work as the executive president of not only the country but also the world's largest party."
Encouraging workers, Sushant Choudhary said that a grand Shri Ram temple has been built in Ayodhya, and now a grand Sita temple is also being built in Sitamarhi. Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar have jointly laid the foundation stone for the grand temple.
Deputy Chief Minister Sushant Choudhary was addressing a function organized to welcome Nityanand Rai after he became the national executive president. At the grand welcome ceremony for National Executive President Nityanand Rai in Bihar, state Health Minister Mr. Mangal Pandey congratulated and extended good wishes to him.
He said that Mr. Nityanand Rai's appointment as National Executive President is a matter of pride for Bihar, and it proves that the youth of Bihar are now capable of leading at the national level. Mr. Pandey said that the emergence of young leadership like Nityanand Rai, who is full of energy, hardworking, and farsighted, will give a new direction and speed to the organization.
Today, Bihar is not limited to just development projects, but it is also becoming a center of ideological leadership and organizational strength. This change will further strengthen Bihar's position in national politics in the future.
Thousands of BJP workers gathered across Patna, resulting in massive crowds blocking most of the city's roads. The roads around the Patna airport were particularly jammed for several kilometers, leaving both common people and dignitaries stranded. The situation became so dire that Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha, Minister Dileep Jaiswal, Mangal Pandey, Rituraj Sinha, and Sanjiv Chaurasia, who were going to the airport to welcome Nityanand Rai, got down from their cars and walked to the airport.
Nityanand Rai emotionally remembered his father while addressing the workers, saying that the BJP is a big family where every worker is like a member. Emphasizing the strength of the BJP, he said that there is no shortcut in politics. The BJP is the only force that can take a worker from the ground to the top.
Nityanand Rai launched a scathing attack on Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav. Calling Rahul Gandhi a "part-time politician," he said that when the people of Bihar voted for him, he ran away to Germany. Attacking Tejashwi Yadav, he said that those who get the opportunity to travel abroad do so.
He credited the victory with a huge majority from Bihar to Bengal and Tamil Nadu to the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Nityanand Rai said, "This victory will not be limited to Bihar, but it will spread from here to Bengal and Tamil Nadu, saffron will be waved everywhere." He vows to hoist the BJP flag from the panchayat to the parliament, and ordinary workers will become great leaders in the future.
He expressed his commitment to fulfilling his responsibility towards the people's vote and assured that he would live up to their expectations. He particularly emphasized the goal of creating 10 million jobs in Bihar. Nityanand Rai clarified that no matter what position he holds, he will never forget the love of the people of Patna and Bankipore.
Praising the BJP's style of working, he said that every worker in the BJP has the potential to become the national president. He assured that he would always be ready and at the forefront for the development of the party and Bihar.
The roadshow, a display of strength, party unity, and organizational power, was seen as a manifestation of Nityanand Rai's importance and strong stature within the Bihar BJP. The procession, which began with drums and slogans, passed through various routes of the city. The central attraction of the event was the Miller High School ground, where a grand stage was set up.
Nityanand Rai was formally felicitated on the stage, adorned with pictures of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and J.P. Nadda, in the presence of party workers from across the state. During the event, senior party leaders congratulated him, and finally, Nityanand Rai himself addressed the workers, reaffirming his commitment to the organization.
