Patna: (ABN) The District Magistrate of Patna heard 24 complaints in the second appeal under the Bihar Public Grievances Redressal Act, 2015, and the first appeal under the Bihar Government Servants Grievances Redressal Rules, 2019, and disposed of the complaints. The officials were directed to provide a standard solution to public grievances with complete transparency, accountability, and sensitivity, and to promote public welfare works. The District Magistrate said that the successful implementation of the Bihar Public Grievances Redressal Act, 2015, and the Bihar Government Servants Grievances Redressal Rules, 2019, is the top priority of the administration. All officials should be vigilant, prepared, and committed to this.

The District Magistrate reviewed the progress of the special camp and took stock of the current situation. The officers were directed to ensure maximum participation in the camps and achieve the target. The District Magistrate said that it is the top priority of the government to ensure that farmers can easily access the benefits of public welfare schemes. He further said that to facilitate the farmers, the state government has extended the process of creating a Farmer ID by one more day, till January 10. Farmers should take advantage of this.

The District Magistrate informed that special camps are being organized in all 322 panchayats under Patna district. Today was the fourth day of the camp. The authorities are working through inter-departmental coordination. The District Agriculture Officer has assigned an Agriculture Coordinator/Farmer Advisor and Assistant Technical Manager/Block Technical Manager to each panchayat for the camps. Block-wise nodal officers have also been appointed to ensure the successful organization of the camps. Sub-divisional officers have been directed to ensure that all zonal officers in their respective areas facilitate the revenue-related work for the camps.

The District Magistrate said that the District Agriculture Officer has been directed to ensure that the concerned Agriculture Coordinator/Farmer Advisor and Assistant Technical Manager/Block Technical Manager complete the e-KYC process for farmers in the allocated panchayats through the camp mode. He said that the purpose of the Farmer ID is multi-faceted. Its purpose is to create a unified digital identity for every farmer, as well as to link them to the schemes of the Agriculture Department and ensure easy access to benefits. The Farmer Registration (digital identity of farmers) ID is necessary for easy access to the benefits of various schemes of the Agriculture Department, particularly the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, Kisan Credit Card, and Crop Assistance Scheme. This will also strengthen transparency in the implementation of schemes for farmers. Special camps are being organized to achieve this goal. Land-related documents (including online submission of documents in their name), Aadhaar card, and mobile number are required to obtain the Farmer Registration ID.

Sub-divisional officers and district agriculture officers have been directed to provide all possible assistance to farmers. The state government has also issued helpline numbers. The helpline number of the Agriculture Department is 18001801551, and the helpline number of the Revenue and Land Reforms Department is 18003456215. Farmers can contact the District Agriculture Officer, Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officer, Block Agriculture Officer, Agriculture Coordinator, or Farmer Advisor using any of the helpline numbers provided. Agricultural advisors, agriculture coordinators, and Hulka employees have been directed to provide all possible assistance to farmers in the camps.

The District Magistrate said that the entire administrative machinery is vigilant, prepared, and committed to providing all possible assistance to farmers. Work is underway to expedite the e-KYC process for farmers and achieve the target of farmer registration on time. The District Magistrate also directed the officers to widely publicize the camp. Block agriculture personnel are responsible for motivating farmers' attendance and providing facilities. An intense awareness campaign should be carried out by panchayat-level personnel from various departments. Farmers should be informed about the camp through a microphone to ensure their participation.

The District Magistrate directed the concerned officers to expedite the work by taking personal interest. He said that officers and employees of various departments have also been involved in the special campaign to ensure development. The Block Agriculture Officer and Circle Officer will jointly organize the camps in panchayats according to micro-planning. The concerned Sub-Divisional Officer will monitor this process.
