Patna: The district administration has stepped up preparations to ensure the Ravan Dahan program scheduled for October 20 at Gandhi Maidan is completed in a safe, organized, and peaceful manner. District Magistrate Kandan Kumar and Senior Superintendent of Police Kartikya K. Sharma visited Gandhi Maidan to review the arrangements and instructed the concerned officers to complete all preparations, including security, on time. During the review, the two officers inspected the barricading, lighting arrangements, security, and other essential facilities at Gandhi Maidan. They clarified that all necessary measures must be ensured for the convenience of devotees and spectators, crowd control, and the maintenance of law and order.

The administration has designated various entry gates for the convenience of guests and other individuals participating in the program. Accordingly, important guests will enter through Gate No. 1, VIPs through Gate No. 4, VVIPs and media representatives through Gate No. 12, and members of the Durga Committee through Gate No. 13. Arrangements have been made for the general public to enter through other designated gates.

Considering the convenience of women, two women’s galleries have been set up inside Gandhi Maidan so that they can view the program in a suitable and safe environment. The district administration has appealed to all spectators to take their seats by 4:00 PM to avoid crowds and watch the program in an organized manner. The District Magistrate and Senior SP have instructed all concerned officers to work in coordination and ensure all arrangements related to security, crowd management, and spectator convenience. The administration’s objective is to complete the Ravan Dahan program in a peaceful, safe, and pleasant atmosphere.
