Patna (ABN) The issue of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar removing the hijab of woman Dr. Nusrat Parveen in a public event has now taken a serious turn. Shocked by the incident, Nusrat has decided not to return to work for now. Her brother, who is a professor at a government law university in Kolkata, told the media that Nusrat was deeply hurt by the incident and was unable to cope with the shock. She was supposed to assume her post on December 20, but in view of the current situation, she has taken a break from work. According to Nusrat's brother, her self-respect has been seriously hurt by this attitude of the Chief Minister. Although the family tries to convince him that it is not his fault and that he should focus on his career, Nusrat is not yet mentally ready to return to any kind of work. Her brother says that until she recovers from the shock and mental stress, she is unlikely to return to her professional life. After the video of the incident went viral on social media, Bihar politics has been stirred up. Opposition parties like Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Congress have strongly condemned the actions of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. The Congress sarcastically said that the Chief Minister was not like that earlier but his attitude has changed under the influence of the BJP. Now, the reaction of the victim's family has compounded the government's woes, as the controversy appears to be directly affecting a budding career. After the hijab controversy, female doctor Nusrat Parveen has temporarily left Bihar. Nusrat has now returned to her family in Kolkata. According to media reports, Nusrat left Bihar for Kolkata the day after the December 15 incident. It is said that Nusrat Parveen's dream was to become a doctor and she was going to join the Bihar government service on December 20. However, considering the circumstances, she has decided not to continue serving the Bihar government. The family members are trying to convince her to return to Bihar and join their job, but Nusrat is unable to do so at present. The family has left the decision entirely to Nusrat. According to media reports, after the incident on December 15, Nusrat was the first to call her brother and inform him of the situation. She was very emotional during the conversation. Her brother advised her to return to Kolkata and Nusrat returned to her family the next day. Reacting to the whole incident, Nusrat Parveen said, "I am not saying that the CM did it deliberately, but I did not like what happened. There were many people there, some were even laughing. As a girl, it was an insult to me." She added, "I wore hijab from school to college." I have worn it everywhere at home, market or mall and never faced such a situation. My parents always taught me that hijab is a part of our culture. I don't understand what was my mistake, I am not saying that the chief minister did anything wrong, but I am still not at peace, remembers that day and shivers,” Nusrat said. What happened on December 15 was not right. Film personalities have also started coming forward regarding the unveiling and are showing their reactions. Famous actress Rakhi Sawant has also openly criticized Nitish Kumar in this matter and demanded an immediate apology from him. In a video message released on Instagram, Rakhi Sawant has described this process as very insulting. There, Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minister Sanjay Nishad has created a new controversy by giving a controversial and objectionable statement defending Nitish Kumar's hijab incident. Nishad said that what would have happened if Nitish Kumar had "put his hand somewhere else" instead of hijab, which is causing intense anger in political circles. After that, Samajwadi Party leader Sumiya Rana filed a complaint against Nishad and demanded FI and legal action. Former Congress MLA Aslam Sheikh termed the statement as vile and anti-women, saying that the hijab is sacred for Muslim women and insulting it is a form of attack. Member of Parliament from Kairana, Uttar Pradesh, Iqra Hasan termed the incident as extremely shameful, saying that pulling the hijab of a woman doctor is a direct attack on her dignity and religious identity. Senior PDP leader Ilja Mufti also condemned Nitish Kumar's action as unacceptable. Abu Asim Azmi also called Nitish Kumar's action as reprehensible. On behalf of Janata Dal-U, MLC Khalid Anwar and Wazir Zaman Khan took the front and said that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar works on the policy of Sab Ka Saath, Sab Ka Saman, and Sab Ka Vikas. Giving an example, he said that the Chief Minister as a father went ahead to remove his daughter's hijab. However, some people are making fun of this sensitive issue which is sad. MLC Khalid Anwar said that they want to make a joke of Bihar in front of the whole world by pointing finger at Nitish Kumar's character. The opposition should remember that if anyone has given respect to women in Bihar, it is Nitish Kumar. Today, a large number of Muslim girls are becoming doctors, engineers, going into services. This is the result of Nitish Kumar's efforts. Nitish Kumar has always followed the path of development with justice. Dr. Khalid Anwar said that this is the same Nitish Kumar when the issue of hijab came, he directly said that our daughters can live as they want, go to school as they want. The opposition leaders want to suppress the issue of jobs and employment of Muslim girls by making the issue of hijab. Every child of Bihar loves Nitish Kumar. They know that Nitish Kumar is our guardian, he has given jobs to millions of Muslim youths and will continue to do so and his act was an act of love and there was no intention to humiliate any woman. It should be noted that Nitish Kumar was distributing the appointment letter to Ayush doctors on December 15. As soon as Dr. Nusrat Parveen reached to take the appointment letter in front of the Chief Minister, the Chief Minister pointed his finger at her and pulled the niqab from her face as soon as she saw it, which went viral on social media. Nitish Kumar was condemned from all sides. Questions about Nitish Kumar's health and mind began to arise on social media. In this matter, there was bound to be a political upheaval, the leaders of JDU also took the front and the leaders of the opposition also seemed to respond on their side. In fact, this matter has now become prolonged and the media is busy spreading propaganda against Nitish Kumar.
