Rohtas, 4 May (ABN). Five people were killed in a road accident last night in Mithiya village under Dinara police station area in Rohtas district of Bihar. One of the deceased was a resident of Bhagwanpur in Kaimur district, while the other was a resident of Mashrulia in Natarwar police station area. The other three were residents of Mithiya village in Dinara. All the people were related to each other.
Thana in-charge Dharmendra Prasad said that all the people were returning to the village after attending the tilak ceremony of Ashok Kumar's daughter in Lodhi village of Chanari. A container that was out of control hit a bus and a pickup van that were stopped near a turn near the village. In this accident, five people were killed and ten people were injured. The container has been seized, while the driver has fled.
The deceased include 45-year-old Ashok Kumar Singh, Mithiya village, 35-year-old Panto Kumar, Mithiya village, 38-year-old Rameshwar Singh, Mithiya village, 20-year-old Chhotu Kumar, a resident of Mashrulia in Natarwar police station area, and 44-year-old Ram Bert Singh, a resident of Bhagwanpur in Kaimur district.
