Saran, 16 December: District Magistrate Vibhu Srivastava launched the Pulse Polio campaign 2025 by administering polio drops to children at Sadar Hospital on Tuesday. The campaign will run from 16 December 2025 to 25 December 2025 across the district, aiming to immunize all children against polio.

The event at Sadar Hospital was attended by the Civil Surgeon, District Health Manager, and several other health department officials and staff. The District Magistrate personally administered polio drops to children, inaugurating the public health campaign and boosting the morale of the campaign team. On the occasion, District Magistrate Vibhu Srivastava appealed to all parents in the district to recognize that polio is a disabling disease, but prevention is very easy.

During the ten-day campaign, health department teams will administer polio drops to children at homes and designated booths. He urged the people of Saran to cooperate with the hospital administration, vaccination workers, and team members involved in the effort, and to strengthen the resolve to keep the country polio-free by administering polio drops to their children aged 0 to 5 years.
