Patna: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar distributed appointment letters to 1,284 newly appointed Ayush doctors. The basic objective of the program organized by the Health Department was to further strengthen the state's health services and make traditional medical practices accessible to the public. During the ceremony, Nitish Kumar suddenly removed the veil from the face of a Muslim Ayush doctor who had come to receive his appointment letter, leaving everyone present in shock. A video of the entire incident has gone viral on social media.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar participated in the ceremony to distribute appointment letters to 1,283 newly appointed Ayush doctors (Ayurvedic, Homeopathic, and Unani). In the video, a moment later, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary tried to tell the Chief Minister that it was a veil worn on top. On social media, questions are being raised as to why Nitish Kumar is doing this - whether his health and mind are not okay or if he is doing such things under pressure from the BJP.
So far, there has been no response from the government on this matter. Muslims are expressing anger towards Nitish Kumar due to his actions. Some people say that Nitish Kumar's saffron face is now visible, and by making irresponsible moves towards Muslim women, he has not only toyed with Muslims but has also taken a step towards erasing our Islamic identity.
At the ceremony held at the Chief Minister's Secretariat's Samvad Hall, the Chief Minister symbolically presented appointment letters to 10 newly appointed Ayush doctors.
